Web 2.0 allows users to use social media and other platforms to communicate with each other sharing information. Web 2.0 is changing the idea of the web being just a source of information retrieval. It has surely changed my life due to the fact that I constantly use social media and other platforms to share and obtain information and it seems I rely on these platforms often.

Web 2.0 is a conglomeration of devices, apps, and sites that allow immediate (real-time) communication between people who are not in the same room. It's a tiger in the living room: can be fascinating to watch but can also eat your productive time alive. Web 2.0 has changed my life because it has changed my relationship with my teenage daughter. It's a world that she inhabits constantly, while I am an occasional tourist.

Web 2.0 is a concept that collaborates the current World Wide Web with the newer social media services that allows users to share thoughts and ideas. The introduction of these new applications such as social media, podcasting, blogs ect has completely changed how we use the internet. It’s not only a resource for information but also a platform to vocalize your views and opinions. Web 2.0 has without doubt changed my life in that social media is such an integral aspect of communication with friends and family who I don’t often see.

Web 2.0 is the way users use the current World Wide Web to communicate and interact with other users. It allows people to share their thoughts and receive new information with anyone that has access to that specific website. Web 2.0 has changed my life because it connects me with people I cannot physically be with. It also provides me with a constant source of information and inspiration.

Web 2.0 is the successful implementation of a personalized Web experience through editing and organizing user generated content that was not efficiently done on the Web previously. The Internet has always been about connecting people, but now users are able to connect and share information with other users faster and easier than ever before with popular tools such as blogs, social networking sites, and wikis. Web 2.0 has changed my life by making beginning and sustaining relationships with peers easier through social networking, as well as streamlining the process for which I can search for information.

Web 2.0 is the new ability of internet users to contribute content as well as receive it in its traditional form. It serves as the entry point for two-way communication between users allowing the common user to both produce and consume content. Amateurs can create blogs, videos, photos, news reports, etc. Web 2.0 has allowed me greater communication with friends and sharing of ideas. I've been able to find people with similar interests and lifestyles.

Web 2.0 defines a period in the evolution of internet technology when it became a part of daily life. Through various modalities like social networking, blogging, and user-regulated programs, Web 2.0 blurs the line discerning man from machine. Teaching discriminatory behaviors will be key in shaping the future of our children. My life has changed drastically since the start of Web 2.0 (ca. 2006); Web 2.0 is a part of my daily life, from facebook to gmail to the 1001 reasons that I log onto a computer every single day. My life is organized on it. Web 2.0 defines a new era in human consumption of technology more so than depicting the emergence of new technologies.

I think Web2.0 represents the internet culture where people have the opportunity to make themselves famous or worshiped by like-minded people. I consider Web2.0 to be sites like Youtube, Blogger, Pinterest, Instagram and general blogs that write about fashion, food, art and pop culture. Web2.0 has given these people the power to mobilize their ideas and sell it to a receptive crowd that wants to be told what to like or appreciate unique aesthetic ideals. I think it has definitely changed me life because in terms of the pop culture I consume, I never go to a magazine or newspaper. I go to personal blogs and the content I consume is less directed to sell me stuff (like in fashion magazines and fashion magazine websites). These personal blogs show me what they actually like out of all the fads; I feel like I am looking at someone's real perspective. I think Web2.0 has allowed for the development of personalized interests, which has resulted in the fame of interesting people.

Web 2.0 is a new way of using the the internet that allows its users to integrate various forms of social media as a way of communication on the internet. The internet is not just a way to do research or look up information anymore and Web 2.0 is what allows its users to relay information to each other and to communicate. Web 2.0 has definitely changed my life in that it has allowed me to keep in contact with my friends who are all at different colleges. For us to be able to maintain our friendship by being able to communicate with each other on the web is a really helpful concept.

Web 2.0 is a variety of different social networking sites that provide a means of communication across space and time. It allows individuals to stay connected to events and information about the people and the world around them regardless of physical constraints of space and time. Web 2.0 has allowed me to stay connected to and updated daily about people who I haven't seen for years. I can still remain close despite the distance between us, or lack of time to meet face to face.

Web 2.0 is a term that refers to the newest types of websites that allow the user to be an active participant rather than a passive one. Web 2.0 includes social networking websites such as Facebook and Twitter, video sharing websites, blogs, etc. These are all platforms where the user can join in on a conversation and participate in some way with the online community. Web 2.0 has definitely changed my life because it's changed the way I interact with my friends and classmates. Social networking sites allow me to stay in constant contact with them and to stay up to date on the lives of old friends I wouldn't otherwise be in touch with or know anything about. Blogs have allowed me to not only read an article but to view the opinions of a variety of other readers and to join in on a conversation or debate on the topic at hand. LinkedIn has allowed me to more easily network with others and get in contact with a potential future employer or mentor. In general, Web 2.0 has allowed me to choose the types of news and information I want to receive by allowing me to follow certain news sources/public figures on Twitter, subscribe to certain YouTube channels, and read certain blogs.
